La Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie

Lyon, France

Set in the recently refurbished Grand Hôtel-Dieu, Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie de Lyon is a new culture centre and a museum for the heritage and history of French cuisine and gastronomy.

In collaboration with exhibition designers Casson Mann we designed the panels, captions, lightboxes and graphics for props.

The exhibition showcases the city’s culinary history, at the source of Lyon’s international reputation.

We had the opportunity to discover the history of the great figures of Lyon Cuisine such as Paul Bocuse and the "Mothers". Through this discovery we translated this into a lively and immersive exhibition experience.

The exhibition spaces are made out of atmospheric and immersive experiences, historic objects and interactive tools, taking visitors on a journey to discover and rediscover gastronomy.
